Matthew Hughes

Matthew chose to be a philosophy major at Colby College because he sought answers to life’s questions, only to sourly realize that the answer is the questioning -- an answer he was quick to question. Born and raised in the pulsing center of what John Lennon described as “Rome” of the modern day, Matthew is a self-proclaimed “metropolitan man” of the 21st century. Although he holds the belief that he and his peers are at the forefront of the fastest accelerating era of known civilization so-called the Internet Age, Matthew finds ample excuses to squander the unprecedented amount of information at his fingertips by choosing to drink beer and laugh with his friends. Matthew asks of his generation what he demands of himself: read more, care less, and hydrate.
